I like this capture. The bird almost blends into the background. The shapes and the tones of the water really give the feeling of movement, while maintaining detail. very nice.

@DaveB: No not really. As a general rule, I try to avoid post processing, unless the photo feels a little washed out, in which case I adjust the brightness/contrast.

My eyes don't focus on the gull but on the water instead. Moving the eyes around we see the movement of water, of the waves. Brilliant.
