絵馬/ema/votive plaquesPosted by e. (New York, NY, United States) on 21 May 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. With this photo, I end the ridiculously long Taiwan/Japan series. I didn't realize it would be this long. I'd like to use this photo as a transition into the photos of the Columbia University Matsuri that I took, and from then on, to the five billion photos I've taken at Columbia. Not to worry, not all five billion are going up. :) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are only two ways to live your life. I see also on this sensitive picture the same human inclination to write down things like these, in hope of fulfillment or simply because one is concerned. Writing down hàs an effect indeed! 21 May 2008 9:57am Helma from Tehran, Iraninteresting subjects ! good idea and well done ... thanks. 21 May 2008 10:27am Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesVery interesting. The belief is that they will come true. :) This will be more apparent with tomorrow's image. Rabbit from Richmond, United Statesso cool. Composition of this shot is right on. There are so many of them too. I really like this idea of writing things down like that. 23 May 2008 12:11pm |
