chained

One of the nights we stayed at a famous hotel with seven different onsens. It's on an island in the middle of Kumano-nada, so we had to take a boat to get there. I caught this in the morning as we were leaving.

i really think you always seem to have so many ideas and perspectives with regard to taking pictures...i was just thinking to myself today that i am 'shutter-dry'...not in the mood nor do i have anything to take pictures of..:(

@tyan: That's not true! You're full of amazing photos of your kids. :) And I'm not really very full of ideas, I just take pictures of things that interest me and then go back and say huh, that's kind of neat. Haha.

You have an eye for the symbolic detail, e.! Chained, but to what? That's hidden in deep waters :). Somehow a very simple, but also strong picture!
