wardPosted by e. (New York, NY, United States) on 28 April 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. One of the fortune telling options in temples is the custom of drawing fortunes. Depending on what you draw, you are handed a piece of paper saying how your fortune will be in the coming year. If you get a bad fortune, custom says that if you tie it on a branch or a wire like this, it will ward off the bad fortune. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. - Albert Einstein Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. - Shawshank Redemption
