a dream of red mansions

Posted by e. (New York, NY, United States) on 16 April 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

The first night we stayed in the Hotel Seamore, which had really nice onsens. The Shirahama-Onsen is one of the three famous springs in Japan. Its waters contain natrium chloride hydrogen carbonate, which is supposed to be effective for rheumatic disease and arthritic. In the hotel, they had a traditional tea ceremony room. The red reminds me of the very famous Chinese book I reference in the title.

PS. Thanks for your comment about the other site I put up. However, had to take it down and use another installation. I applied for it to be listed on VFXY when I started, but my feed apparently wasn't sending thumbnails to them. So, after hours sorting it out, I ended up taking it all down! Not too much in the new one I have started on again. But at least it is thumbnailing properly!
