This photo kind of reminds me of Chinese brush painting... I was thinking about making it black and white to emphasize the effect, but I really like how you can see the reflection of the sunrise starting on the water.
I'm sorry I've been on and off MIA this past week or two. Midterms have fallen upon me with a crash and I'm scrambling to even get enough sleep, let alone do well in my exams. I'm going around to everyone today, but I'll probably be sporadic for the next few days.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. - Albert Einstein
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. - Shawshank Redemption
We walk through our lives so focused on our daily tasks and griefs. It's important to realize that there is always hope, because without fail, there will always be a touch of color - in a hazy shade of winter.

This is beautiful as it is; the soft blues contrast nicely with the dark foliage. BW would be fine, but this is wonderful, peaceful, restful. Bravo!

It certainly looks like a sumi-e and I like it very much! You might give it a try in B&W...just to let us see the difference and how an original sumi-e might have looked!
