My uncle invited my mom and I to the Sun Moon Lake with him and his wife. Since we were driving down, we had to wake up ridiculously early. This resulted in a half-asleep adorable baby cousin.

Now that's what I call sweet sleep :)

The cute little doll! She cannot have the blues, not yet! And if they are too excited, children never want to sleep, so...finally....they fall asleep standing!!! I've seen it twice and I couldn't believe my eyes!

That is one tired kid. But I'm sure she was up and about with even more energy. Perhaps tomorrow's photo . . . ?

Sooo peaceful.

I agree with viewfinder, sooo peaceful! This night we got awake by a blinding thunder flash, immediately followed by a blow I never heard before made by thunder: like an explosion or canon shot, not followed by the well-known rumbling. Our electricity fell down, luckily I only needed to reset the main switch. Even our 10 yo son got awake, and the dog wanted to come upstairs with us for fear (he is never allowed to be there). Thank heavens it wasn't our house but something in the close neighborhood. That's what I had to think of when I saw your lovely child picture.

Thanks for your concern, e. I had the thought because of the innocent happiness exuded by your sleeping child picture. I heard later on on the news that another village in our country the lightning had destroyed computers, TVs and window panes of 20 houses in a neighborhood, so we were lucky just to have escaped this accident in our village.

@Illuci: :( Definitely VERY lucky.
