drops in the dark

Wow, I'm back, after a month long hiatus. It's good to be back. :) I had a few old photos from before I started am3 that I wasn't sure when to post, when I came upon the perfect opportunity for some of them.

For some of you who have seen a lot of my photography, you know that I went to Duke University. I recently (and by recently I mean in the last half month) got transferred in a series of very bizarre circumstances to Columbia University. Hence, I'm going to pay a last tribute to Duke with a few photos that I took in my time there.

My best friend strung up lights around her room, and I thought the purple lights were absolutely gorgeous.

Hi, e.! Great to see you back! Panta rhei, kai ouden menei, tempora mutantur et nos mutamur in illis, etc. Everything changes and we have to change too. I hope the changes will be positive and will make you happy, as this picture makes me happy, both the occasion and the little lights in the dark.

Glad you are back e. This is a nice tribute to Duke, and a most interesting way to make your return here. I love the outline of the light around the frame of the door.

I could see how you would love these! Great job at getting a shot of these, i know low light can be quite an issue for trying to capture a good picture. - as for things on my ETSY site. i'm currently working on a whole set of new things - i actually just SOLD nearly all of what i had, some of it sold in-person, people would see it on the site & then just ask if they could come and pick it up, so those things i just un-listed.

Is there anything you were looking for in particular? A bowl, cup, mug, box (like my little round spring boxes) ??? just curious i would make something to suite your fancy & take pictures as i do ;) it takes bout 2 - 3 months to get something tho (the drying process is what takes so long & can not be hurried or it will crack)
