doubly barredPosted by e. (New York, NY, United States) on 8 December 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. Sometimes it's just so frustrating, when you can see a glimpse of your goals and your dreams, but the way is blocked. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. - Albert Einstein Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. - Shawshank Redemption

Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaPerfect teaming with the words....very, very creative 8 Dec 2007 5:30am kairospix from Singapore, Singaporee. you are really picking things up! 8 Dec 2007 6:35am Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomWonderfully creative image. I love it. I also feel with you in your words, e. Again, it does matter what those goals and dreams are. If they’re noble and wonderful, like Martin Luther King Jr’s dream for the people, then, whatever the odds and obstacles, there will be a way to fulfil them, even if imperfectly on this side of eternity. But there are dreams that are not so noble too; every one of us has them. Even Hitler had his goals, hopes, dreams, aspirations. Sadly when they were fulfilled, even against some odds and obstacles, he was special and famous, but for all the wrong reasons. So, finding a frustrating block is not always such a bad thing, I feel. It may well be the start of something far better, depending on where it leads you. ;) Before this turns into another mini-essay on dreams, may I just wish you all the very best for the noblest dreams and the fulfilment of them in the most beautiful ways. :) 8 Dec 2007 4:01pm annora from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysiainteresting framing.i like the description u have with it.i like tht u left the sign in colour only. 8 Dec 2007 4:09pm |
