These are a little late, but these photos are from my first experience ever carving pumpkins. Astounding that it's taken me so long to have this experience.

Pumpkin interiors are interesting places. This is a very cool shot of that somewhat textured and surreal environment; the lit candle sets it off well; that warm pumpkin-orange glow is wonderful.

This picture could have presented my wife's work, she did exactly the same the date you posted this picture! I smelled something when I entered the room and she had made kind of a lantern, but the upper side of the excavation in which the candle was burning was too low so a hole had been burnt in it. But don't think she failed in her work, I will post a picture soon (within a week or so). I find your picture excellent and original, beause it shows the inside in a beautiful orange glow. BTW I hate pumpkin soup :)

Mm, nice job sticking your camera (or at least focusing it) in a pumpkin! Although I do find it very difficult to make the inside of a pumpkin look focused, for some reason.

This is SUPER - this is inside the pumpkin huh. I was also a late pumpkin carver - for i carved my first one when i was 28 - - i found out it IS super fun!
