a matter of perspective

Posted by e. (New York, NY, United States) on 19 October 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual.

Life is really how you perceive things. Look closely enough, and you'll suddenly discover that signs aren't telling you not to park at fire lanes, but to feel free and park anytime you want there. Of course, don't hold me accountable if you get your car towed.

How can someone park all the time, while this in fact is a fire lane. Funny

Richard_Irwin from Belper, United Kingdom

Thats funny, but over here we have motorways where you do park all the time it moves so slow, its called the M25 and its Londons orbital carpark.

I'm not sure what a 'firelane' is. Is it for Firetrucks to use, or something else?

19 Oct 2007 9:48pm

@Richard_Irwin: Well, fire lanes are generally just places along the curb you can't park. A lot of times it's because there's a fire hydrant there, or the road just doesn't have enough room for a row of parked cars.

Tells us how so many people act contrary to what we expect from them, even ourselves, NO, especially ourselves because they (we) don't want to see what seems to be obvious. Thanks for this philosophical picture!
