alcoholismPosted by e. (New York, NY, United States) on 5 October 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture. How can we complain about alcoholism when there is so much available to us? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. - Albert Einstein Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. - Shawshank Redemption

Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesSo whats your drink of choice? If i do have a beer i like Leinenkugels! A great shot to get us ready for the weekend. 5 Oct 2007 5:34am Stunner from Kingston, JamaicaNot a beer fan, I prefer mix drinks. Self control is the key where alcohol is concerned. Nice shot, especially for the weekend! 5 Oct 2007 5:39am Rags from Plano, United StatesYou are so right. We live in a country where so much is available to us and the attitude is "If you want it you can have it." Apart from alcohol i think that over eating is also an issue. 5 Oct 2007 6:59am Manuela Photography from Hainburg, GermanyAbundance is an issue in all aspects but again self control is indeed the key. 5 Oct 2007 8:32am rainsocks from SingaporeI'm not complaining... hehe.. a beer every now and then helps me retain my sanity.. :-) 5 Oct 2007 11:54am Brian from United StatesComing from a college town, I know of what you speak, e! My motto is the good old standby: "Moderation in all things!" :-) 5 Oct 2007 2:28pm Harald from Frankfurt am Main, GermanyAlcohol in the rite quantum can be a medicine. 5 Oct 2007 5:47pm Dawn Sutherland from Phoenix, United StatesI enjoy a beer every now and then, it has been years since I have been drunk. I think I did more drinking prior to turning 21, that is a shame. 6 Oct 2007 1:06am Markus from Reading, United KingdomNice offer! We just have to be reasonable, that's it! 6 Oct 2007 6:55pm Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaThe last time I was drunk was the night of December 30, 1984. I learned my lesson. I had such a hang over on New Year's Eve that I could only drink ice water. Went to a party at a nice restaurant and there was a blizzard. Only six of us arrived for the big bash. They were losing money anyway so they gave the booze away for free. The ice water was free as well. I now drink in moderation and enjoy it more. Nice shot by the way. 15 Oct 2007 2:16am @Michael Rawluk: Haha oh my. That was a long time ago. Thanks for sharing. :) |
