How can we complain about alcoholism when there is so much available to us?

We walk through our lives so focused on our daily tasks and griefs. It's important to realize that there is always hope, because without fail, there will always be a touch of color - in a hazy shade of winter.

Not a beer fan, I prefer mix drinks. Self control is the key where alcohol is concerned. Nice shot, especially for the weekend!

You are so right. We live in a country where so much is available to us and the attitude is "If you want it you can have it." Apart from alcohol i think that over eating is also an issue.

Abundance is an issue in all aspects but again self control is indeed the key. Have a nice weekend!

Coming from a college town, I know of what you speak, e! My motto is the good old standby: "Moderation in all things!" :-)

I enjoy a beer every now and then, it has been years since I have been drunk. I think I did more drinking prior to turning 21, that is a shame.

Nice offer! We just have to be reasonable, that's it!

The last time I was drunk was the night of December 30, 1984. I learned my lesson. I had such a hang over on New Year's Eve that I could only drink ice water. Went to a party at a nice restaurant and there was a blizzard. Only six of us arrived for the big bash. They were losing money anyway so they gave the booze away for free. The ice water was free as well. I now drink in moderation and enjoy it more.
Nice shot by the way.
