glamour at the airportPosted by e. (New York, NY, United States) on 1 October 2007 in People & Portrait. The airport is always such a dull place. You're either passing through without really noticing it or tearing your hair out from boredom because your flight was delayed another three hours. This woman apparently decided to spice up her visit. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. - Albert Einstein Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. - Shawshank Redemption

Rags from Plano, United Statesthe frustration and sheer boredom is visible on the faces of the people in the image. Good shot! 1 Oct 2007 5:08am Illuci from NetherlandsIf your flight is delayed, remember how much more time it would have taken you if you would have gone by boat or train (maybe you would never have gone because of that amount of time). The picture expresses the psychological effect very well! 1 Oct 2007 7:07am @Illuci: Oh my, it would've taken a week. Very good point! :) @badala: Me too, although I could never really get how to focus the viewers on one particular thing in a crowd, so I've been trying to work on that.
